GEF-6 Sustainable Cities IAP Program: Emerging Lessons from the Global Platform for Sustainable Cities

31 AUGUST 2021

The Integrated Approach Pilot (IAP) program on Sustainable Cities aims to promote sustainable urban development through integrated models of urban design, planning, and implementation. The program adopted two interrelated and complementary components – direct investment in sustainability solutions in cities and the GPSC as a global convening space for developing and sharing knowledge to promote integrated urban planning and investments.

The report outlines emerging lessons and experiences with engaging countries and cities to advance integrated urban planning and implementation, including progress with building the global platform for knowledge exchange and learning.
