Konya is one of Türkiye's fastest-growing metropolitan areas and is working to integrate nature-based solutions into its urban development and climate adaptation efforts. Through its commitment to green and blue infrastructure, the city is strengthening resilience to climate change while enhancing biodiversity, water management, and quality of life. With support from the World Bank and partners, Konya is developing an ecological planning framework and pilot projects that position the city as an emerging example of nature-positive urban development.
