Shijiazhuang – GEF-6 (SCIAP)

Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, joined the GEF-6 SCIAP to advance integrated land-use and transport planning within the wider Jing-Jin-Ji region. The project supported the preparation of TOD strategies for its expanding metro system, improved connectivity among transport modes, and strengthened planning coordination with Beijing and Tianjin.

 

Shijiazhuang – GEF-8 (SCIP)
As part of the GEF-8 Sustainable Cities Integrated Program (SCIP) within the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei cluster, Shijiazhuang leverages GPSC support to coordinate knowledge and finance for sustainable urban transformation. The city is advancing integrated land-use planning, nature-based measures, decarbonized infrastructure, and circular construction standards, building a pipeline of bankable projects aligned with municipal and national planning cycles.
