Submissions are now open for the sixth cycle of the WRI Ross Center Prize for Cities, a global award recognizing transformative projects that address critical urban challenges and improve people’s lives.
Building on five previous cycles, the Prize is seeking proven solutions across a broad range of urban priorities, from safer streets and greener neighborhoods to better housing, mobility, public space, and more. Eligible projects should demonstrate tangible results and the potential to inspire change beyond the places where they were originally implemented.
One Grand Prize Winner will receive $250,000 to support its work, while four additional finalists will each receive $25,000. Cities and organizations leading innovative urban projects with demonstrated impact are encouraged to submit their initiatives and share this opportunity across their networks.
Applications are open until January 13, 2027.
