The World Resources Institute (WRI) led this workshop aiming at strengthening knowledge and skills on air quality management among peers, through the case study of the experiences of Mexico City. This case, an example of an integrated air quality management policy, was presented through a series of technical presentations by different actors and researchers involved in the administration of air quality programs, which made presentations highlighting different angles that must be taken into account to have a comprehensive view of air quality. The objectives were:

• Strengthen knowledge and skills on air quality management among technical experts working in this type of programs at local, state or national level.
• Provide an opportunity to learn directly from the experiences of Mexico City.
