Adrián Cabezas Vegas is a Senior Environmental Technician at Barcelona Regional, the public agency for strategic urban planning and infrastructure in Barcelona. With a background in Environmental Sciences, territorial planning, environmental management and GIS, he has extensive experience in urban nature, green infrastructure, biodiversity, climate adaptation and strategic environmental assessment.
At Barcelona Regional, he contributes to major urban nature strategies such as the Pla Natura Barcelona 2030, as well as studies on ecosystem services, green infrastructure and climate resilience. He currently leads the City of Barcelona’s participation in the European projects UNP+ and ReGreeneration, focused on advancing urban nature plans, nature-based solutions and climate adaptation across cities.
