The 3rd Deep-Dive on Urban Heat organized in Singapore from April 24-28, 2023, focused on (i) incorporating climate adaptation and cooling solutions into planning, (ii) holistic approach to urban cooling solutions including nature-based solutions, passive and active cooling options such as district cooling, (iii) policy and regulatory framework for implementation as well as approach to financing. The program was structured to highlight the process and approach to tackling urban heat challenges drawing from case studies in Singapore and international best practices including Paris and Guangzhou, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and deep-structured collaborative learning for participating cities of Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Paris, Philippines, Poland, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
